About us

We are an association of students at the Technical University of Dresden and organise events, parties and excursions for international students of our university. Our team consists of students, employees and alumni of the TU that like foreign languages, cultures and enjoy organising events for other people. Mainy of us have themselves spent some time abroad during their studies. As we enjoyed hospitality in other countries, we now want to show hospitality to international guests in Dresden on our turn.

Even though our name adresses international students that stay in Dresden with the Erasmus-programme, all international students are welcome to our events.

But we do not only organise events for international students. Every year our fair "Erasmus on the move" aims on informing German students about possibilities for a stay abroad. Former Erasmus students and international students of the TU answer questions about their countries and their home universities. That is how we promote the spirit of Erasmus in Dresden.

By the way, our name is derived from the philosopher, theologian and humanist Erasmus of Rotterdam (1465-1536). As he was driven by the search for knowledge, experience and new insights that can only be gained by direct contact to other countries, he lived and worked in different parts of Europe.
